Training is provided by senior Cadets and Unit Staff. A T.O.E.T (Test of Elementary Training) is given at the end of each training phase.
 
A cadet is to complete Basic 1 (normally in the first year) before being able to enter the next stage of training.
 
Cadets are now supplied with appropriate stationary and are to bring the appropriate stationary with them to every Parade Night and Camp/Activitiy.
