Discipline

Cadets are subject to New Zealand Cadet Forces regulations and discipline associated with the carrying out of orders, instruction and directives. Minor infringements of discipline will be dealt with by Unit Staff. Serious matters will be dealt with by the Unit Commander. When necessary, parents will be advised of any matters that may require their personal attention.

The Unit Commander is always available to discuss any problems with parents / caregivers.
 

ALL CADETS must read the Unit Standing Orders (a copy of which can be obtained from the Orderly Room) A plea of non-observance cannot be acceptable for non-compliance.
 
Smoking, Drinking or Drugs
 
No Cadet is permitted to smoke during any cadet activity.Cadets are not allowed any intoxicating liquor or drugs whilst under the control or orders of Unit Staff. Cadets who bring alcohol or drugs, or are under the influence of any such subtance at any parade, camp or other Unit event or function will be liable for instant dismissal. The police will be notified in any case involving drugs.
